Frequently Asked Questions

For family trips, the consulate allows one parent to include one minor (under 18) on the same visa slot. Adults (and additional minors) generally need their own reservations unless otherwise specified by the mission.

We’ll advise the smoothest booking arrangement for your family and prepare each file correctly (minors’ consent letters, relationship proofs, etc.) so the officer can process you together with minimal back-and-forth.

In Dubai, the appointment must be under the applicant’s own name, and you submit your file at the consulate; agencies (like us) handle document preparation, appointment booking, and file QA but don’t replace your in-person submission.

Here’s how we help: we compile your documents, fill the e-form correctly, assemble the schedule-of-stay, run a pre-submission audit, and offer free document pick-up & drop-off for nearby Dubai clients (small fee if farther). You just bring the finalized pack to your slot and hand it over.

If your passport is from a visa-exempt country, you’re temporarily exempt from K-ETA until 31 December 2025; you can still apply for K-ETA to skip the arrival card, but it’s optional during this period. From 1 January 2026, K-ETA returns for visa-free nationals. Travelers not visa-exempt must apply for a sticker visa (usually C-3-9 tourist).

At Green Apple, we confirm whether you’re visa-free, K-ETA-eligible, or visa-required based on your nationality and trip purpose, then set up the correct path (K-ETA guidance vs. consular visa prep). If you’re unsure which bucket you fall into, we’ll check your passport against the latest list before we start.

The consulate lists: printed online visa form, passport (6-month validity), UAE residence visa valid at least 6 months, Emirates ID, NOC from UAE sponsor with position/salary and signatory details, original UAE bank statement for the last 3 months with physical bank stamp issued within the last 2 weeks (no e-statements), schedule of stay, hotel booking (covering all nights) or invitation package if staying with a resident, and confirmed round-trip ticket.

We supply the consulate’s schedule-of-stay template, check the NOC wording, and sanity-check your bank statement date/stamp to prevent rejections for “digitally stamped” statements. If you’ll stay with a friend/family in Korea, we build the invite bundle (inviter’s letter + tenancy contract + Korean ID/residence card).

Official guidance from the UAE missions says around 7 days for processing, but timing varies with season and case complexity; the consulate can also request extra documents. We recommend locking an appointment 3–4 weeks before travel to account for slot scarcity + processing.

We track your case after submission and flag any follow-ups the mission requests. If your travel is near a peak period, we’ll accelerate internal prep and look for earlier cancellations.

Yes—submit a personal invitation plus the inviter’s tenancy contract, and Korean ID (passport) or Residence Card if the host is a resident foreigner. If hotel-hopping, ensure every night is covered by a booking showing your full name.

We’ll draft the invite letter in the consulate’s preferred style and check the tenancy/ID pages so your file isn’t returned for incomplete host proof.

For certain nationalities, Korea requires proof of continuous 2-year UAE residency (previous visa pages) to apply in the UAE; otherwise you may have to apply in your home country. The consulate publishes the exact nationality list and enforces the rule at the counter.

We pre-screen your passport, residence history, and old visas. If you’re in the “2-year” group and don’t meet it yet, we’ll advise alternatives (timing, route, or documentation strategy) before you spend effort on an appointment.

Yes. Virtual visa holders must print the visa page from the ICP UAE app. Golden/partner/self-sponsored applicants still need a letter explaining the detailed purpose of visit (the consulate asks for it even without a company sponsor). If your UAE sponsor is a family member, attach their passport copy with the NOC.

We’ll provide the correct NOC/script and check that your printed UAE visa and Emirates ID copies match the consulate’s formatting standards to avoid counter rejections.

Jurisdiction matters. Residents of Dubai and the Northern Emirates apply at the Consulate General of Korea in Dubai; Abu Dhabi and Al Ain residents apply at the Korean Embassy in Abu Dhabi. We route you to the right mission to avoid wasted appointments.

We prepare your file and book your slot in the correct location. If you’re near Bur Dubai/Trade Center, we offer free pick-up & drop-off of documents for preparation; if you’re farther out, a small logistics fee applies.

All visa appointments are made online via the G4K “365 Overseas Korean Portal”; book under the applicant’s own name and choose “Visa”. Walk-ins aren’t allowed and late arrivals (>10 minutes) aren’t accommodated. High demand means slots can vanish quickly when new windows open.

Green Apple monitors the release windows and books on your behalf (under your name) once your file is ready. We also prep you for the counter flow to avoid “missing info” cancellations the portal warns about.
